pczone doesnt seem to stock the latest gpu's afaik.think they still dont have 6xx series or 7xxx series gpu's
and you have forgotten the scrren and PSU...and for gaming an i7 isnt really needed(correct me if im wrong),so i5 3570k would probably be better and alot cheaper.
(.......but yea pczone does have some cheap stuff.......THEY DO NOW) although if you stay in durbs then i know someone who could probably find you a decent deal.pm me if you do stay in the area and ill give you his details

Yes i7 is used for multi threading like video edit/encoding and not games. I was in this same situation about 1 month ago and decided to go with the i7-3770K because it comes out of the box 100mhz faster than the i5.
But maybe better to go i5 and overclock it if you really need to and maybe used that save money to get a solid state drive. That speeds up pc a lot.
Ok guys this is are the componants on my list so far
AMD Radeon HD 6770 - R1406
Intel i5 3450 - R2018
Zalman ZM-M300 Optical Gaming Mouse - R +-200
Antec Dark Fleet DF-10 Chassis - R707
Thermaltake eSports Challenger Ultimate Keyboard - R702
Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB - R1243
Corsair 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Ram - R560
Sony DVD Writer 24x - R176
Thermaltake Litepower 700W - R649
To my calculations this total is
+- R7661
Suggestions will be appreciated and I still need a motherboard to fit all These parts so suggestions on that will help 2
Oh and the prices are from various online stores (Zaps and Takealot mainly Just the mouse is from Nivo)
I am willing to make compromises on everything besides The keyboard, The mouse and The case (I mean who doesn't want a hand cooling fan when playing Call of duty)
UPDATE: these are the changes to the list atop
Intel i5 3570k instead of 3450 (R300 more)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti instead of Ati radeon hd 6770 (R100 more)
Western Digital Cavair Blue 1TB instead of Green 2TB (R200 Cheaper)
Corsair gaming series 600W instead of Thermaltake litepower 700W (R150 more expensive)
Still haven't decided my Motherboard yet, I don't really know that much of it

if thats really what u want then go for it.but then rather just get the I3 2120 and spend the extra cash on a better GPU.and look at getting a better PSU.corsair/antec are better..
IMHO rather use ur old chassis, hdd,cd writer and maybe PSU depending on the strength, and spend the extra cash on better components.if your always needing to upgrade lots of components it can be depressing.if its just one or two.then its a challenge.
and green drives have slow transfer rates.

@Alien I can't reuse any of the parts on my old rig cuz I'm passing it on and and actually wanted to kinda future proof the one I'm building
I'm also Thinking of getting nVidia instead of AMD/ATI so which do you think will be good
Have a look at this: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthre...C-Build-Thread
It might help you with your build if you do want to change anything![]()
Ok R8000 magicly turned into R10000 but that has to include keyboard, mouse, speakers and monitor
Ive sourced a lot of things from Comx-computers and PC-int, best prices for cases, ram, cpu and motherboards... the graphics card depends. I built a i7 920, x58, 4870HD, 9gb ram, in 2009 and it came out to R9000.00
