Still remember buying the Sound Blaster Live that came with 2.1 Cambridge speakers. The sound card is long gone, but I only threw away the speakers last year.

They still actually do :-). Onboard sound can't really match a proper discrete sound card.

Ok, so I was looking at some program icons and then suddenly I just had a flashback from my Dos days... Some of the pics I can remember.

XTree Gold... Used this on old XT

Lotus 123 - On same XT

Quattro Pro 1 - Dumped Lotus 123 for this one

WordPerfect 5.1 - I myself used MS Word 4 for Dos, but I remember this as all the aunties at my school used it

    The original internet browser

To be fair, I never saw / knew about the internet while I was on Windows 3.1. I only got exposed to the internet here (at internet cafe's of course):

    Arg, Netscape!

I remember a story about someone in an interview being asked if he knew spreadsheets, and he said he knew Lotus 1, 2, AND 3!

    LOL!!!!

When I was doing multimedia design, we asked an interviewee if he knew Macromedia Director, and he said "I have never been a director, but I am very sure that I will be able to make good movies"

Before Netscape was Mosaic. And before Mosaic (and <img> tags for that matter) was lynx, a purely text based web browser.
