The rebel inside me wants to tick all the boxes. But nah, I'll wait until the next XBox is released before I get a new console.
I'll see what release titles there are. The fact that you can play regular Wii games on it is a bonus. The Wife has been asking for a Wii since Christmas and this way she gets what she want and the few Wii titles Id like to play I still can.

I have a Wii and some of the games are fun but the problem is that there just aren't enough of them to warrant the initial price of the console. Then when you look at the Wii U, it'll be pretty much the same situation as it is now except maybe for a year or two you'll get games that you can already find on the 360/PS3. Once the next Xbox and PS come out I doubt you will see devs bothering too much about reducing their games to run on a Wii U.
I could be wrong though.
I am very keen on Nintendo stuff. Only thing is, I am weary of buying consoles on release. There is so much to straighten out in the beginning and I don't enjoy that little process until things are going smoothly. I bought the 3DS on release and it wasn't a smooth ride from the word 'Go' (wasn't that bad either, but there were one or two things that could have gone better).
I think I will be waiting a little bit before looking at buying this little guy, no matter how much I want it.

I will be buying it. I'm not so sure on if I will get it on release, but most certainly within the week of it's release.
I really want to play ZombieU, Lego City Undercover and ScribbleNauts Unlimited!

I want to buy it only to play ZombiU, but I'm sure I read somewhere that it (ZombiU) will be coming to other platforms later so I'll wait and see first. I already have an X360 (that I bought just for the Witcher 2 basically) that I rarely use, so I don't want to spend that much money on a dust gatherer again.
Rather thinking of getting the 3DS. Though I wish the games was more like in the region of R200 instead of up to R500.
