R1470 a game, interesting. If you ask me buying games just to 'have them' or collect them is missing the point but hey I guess having more money is important right?

Yeah, I don't think I could ever justify buying a collection of games (no matter how rare they are) for that amount of cash... Dedicated gamer or otherwise

What bugs me the most about this whole thing is that the dude that just popped R10m on the collection probably himself has no intention of ever playing them (otherwise he'd just have bought some second hand ones somewhere) so why buy them? If you want to be the awesome guy that owns the collection, well, you're actually the first loser because you just paid out someone else to steal the title from them (steal is an inaccurate term; he was bought out). The seller will forever be known as the genius that came up with the idea and you're just the guy with the scraps.

I seriously just don't get it.

What I mean is: who on earth would want to spend R10m on a bunch of games they're not going to play?

I can understand the dude that collected the games in the first place. He did it to create the collection. The next oke to buy that collection ... why do it? It's kind of a lazy shortcut to get the collection considering the first dude went to all the effort. It just seems like an expensive shortcut to me and for what point?

And yes, even paying R10m on games you intend to play is just as crazy
