    Why? The motherboard is SLI, takes up to 16gigs, it's LGA 1366 so he's getting in at the beginning of its lifecycle. Plenty of room for upgrading.

    Bear in mind that AMD will be announcing a completely new range of graphics cards this month. The new products are likely to impact the market significantly, with price cuts likely to come from Nvidia.

    I would try and hang on until then.

    socket 1366 is only for i7 CPU's. All new intel cpu's will use a different socket.

    yip, just make sure to max out your current setup. 3 GTX 285's should do it

    But that all cost so so much money!
    All I got is 1450 pounds to spend on a pc that side....
