Default MWEB cuts pricing for 10Mbps uncapped ADSL

MWEB slashes 10Mbps uncapped ADSL price

MWEB has cut the price of its 10Mbps uncapped ADSL product, and has introduced a new 2Mbps uncapped service

but im a little like a Chameleon on a Smarties box at the moment....
When Telkom upgrades my 1MB line to a 2MB line for the same price, will this then mean I then need to upgrade my MWeb to a 2MB Line and pay more??

If that is the case, I will then downgrade my Telkom line to a 1mb again. Cant afford to pay almost double to MWeb....

Probably, because mweb already made all the 384k data lines into 1mbps lines.

Makes sense, but then I will start looking at other alternatives like AfriHost.
Been an avid MWeb ambassador up to now......

I guess will have to wait and see what happens August.

Kinda expected this to happen but didn't expect it to be that much extra, I'll probably also downgrade the line speed and stick with 1mb

You don't NEED to upgrade the account, you can still use your 2Mbps line on a 1Mbps account you just won't get full speed.

That much I know, but that's just wasting money though. Then rather downgrade the Telkom Portion and save myself some money to spend on Steam

Yeah, if you happy with 1mbps, then downgrade and save yourself a hundred or so rants.

I'm keen to try out 2mbps, so I'll have to fork out R180 more or so/month.
