From what I am seeing in terms of popularity and player mindset is:
Asmodian = Alliance
Eylos = Horde
Very much like in WAR where Destruction was WAR's Alliance, and Order was the more like the Horde.
I love the idea and look of the Asmodians and I reeeeeally want to play them, but the whole 'super badass' feel associated with them appeals to the majority of people. It will especially be appealing to the WoW KiddieZ!!11 This is after looking again at a lot of forums for Aion.
