When an anti-piracy method is affecting the game for people who legitimately bought it and causing other people not to buy the game, there is obviously something wrong with it!
It pains me to not play... i really do enjoy DayZ but there are still waaaay to many people complaining about hackers. I must admit, its causing one of them "distance makes the heart grow fonder" type of situations... i see arma 2 in my steam library and am UBER tempted to click play

The hacking has gotten a lot less lately, might just be lucky.
Do anyone know if trees provide proper shelter(not falling directly on you) from the rain like houses, tried reading up on it but found nothing on the subject?
Playing it with friends make up for most of the bad stuff and them randomly freaking out with zombies and stuff is classic.
Most of the trees do, but you need to stand directly next to the tree trunk.
weird, what sort of hacking have you guys experienced? I don't think i've experienced any sort of hacking, unless its not always obvious when someone has hacked.
Man, I really need to try and get this mod working again. That updater thing borked my install up, and I just can't be bothered to try and get it to work again, but I have a hankering to play...
