I'm guessing most of these guys loot it off other bodies, or tents and vehicles.
I'm not really a sniper so I usually discard AS50 and M107 rifles, I prefer the AKS Cobra or the M4 CCO SD. But between me and my usual partner we have found loads of AS50's. Hidden Vehicles and tents mostly though.
