Just bought DiRT 2, can't wait to get home and test it out (2 more hours)
I've been playing DiRT 2 for a little while now and I have to say it is awesome! I haven't played shift yet, so I don't know which one is better but DiRT 2 is definitely worth it.
So u decided to buy both then?
Nope, unfortunately since I have to buy other games (Sacred 2: Blood and Ice and Uncharted 2) before next months payday I have to save up my money and cannot afford both games at this stage, but I will get Shift eventually. I'm definitely very happy with my choice of getting DiRT 2 first, the graphics and gameplay are awesome and the very first car you get to drive is a Subaru (my dream car)

So I finally gave in and went and got Shift as well today. Now I just have to finish work (in 4 hours) to go and see how it compares to DiRT 2.
As a result of getting Shift I am now completely broke until the end of October and do not have any money for cigarettes or food, but at least I have both games now.

DIRT 2 is much better. Played it for about 2 weeks now and I personally think the graphics and gameplay is superior. You always feel the sudden burst of accomplishment when winning a race on top of making it look so damn good
