I managed to finish a game today (but not play a whole one)

Well the mode seems to be hard set to only 6 human players, the rest are then spectators, I suspect though that the other 26 slots are for the bots.

Anyways Mweb's servers seem to be the most stable, if you can get a slot

The one map keep crashing on us, I think it was coaltown. Tried on both IS servers, as soon as the map came up and the first bot arrived it crashed.

This game needs more mvm maps. I have waiting 20+ mins for a game in spectator mode.

    More servers.
Max cap = 6. (no point in setting it higher)

ISP users could always ask for more servers, Mweb and IS are the only ones who seem to be hosting, what about WebAfrica and Afrihost?

Really need more servers. I got a couple of games in over the weekend, but it takes a lot of time to get into a local server and even longer to get into a international one (not that I want to play on them).

Agreed, waiting for servers is something I've grown too old for :P had enough waiting for groups in WoW to last me a lifetime...

What would work is if the servers can incorporate a player kick based on poor ping. That way I don't have to deal with Mr. del Fueguerro el Capitano speaking some gibberish on chat. Damn, it annoys me seeing all these 500 ping players running around on an SA server.

I actually landed up finally getting a game on what I think was an Aussie server, 300 ping and the game was remarkably playable and didn't detract from the experience. Local is obviously better and preferable but I can now understand why there are internationals happily playing on SA servers.

We all get very caught up with ping etc, but it's remarkable how playable a game with good netcode is, regardless of ping. Anything reasonable (300 and less) is fine. Valve really know their stuff as far as netcode is concerned. Wish I could say the same bout Crytek, though.
