There is a search feature in the sub sections.

You can pay for new advertising if you'ed like.

There is a bar just ontop on the right that says thread/forum tools, search thread/forum

As for the background if you want it to change you can buy advertizing from mygaming and you can have what ever you want.

hehe i am male and yes was looking for forum search tool OmegaFenix thanks for link found it there and yea i know its sponsers just figured someone would have wanted to advertise something new by now it is a few months later already and unfortunately i am a poor student so no buying ad space for me :P
