I hope it is a release title for the next gen of consoles next year. I am willing to wait a little bit if the game will be better on new hardware.

I use to be a massive fan of GTA 1 and 2, and then they took it out multi-player which really hurt my enjoyment of the game. GTA 3 was still ok, but it would have been better with MP. Then GTA IV the graphics engine was so horrible that it wouldn't run with proper FPS on my gaming rig. That put me off even more. The final nail for me was when every second word became a swearword. I'm not a prude, and I don't enable profanity filters in any game, but in GTA I just find the amount of swearing to be overbearing.

The game worked fine on console, as for the swearing, I can't recall that it was over the top.

I still love the game and the MP was actually not bad if you could find enough SA players to join.

It was probably around the time that they ported the game to the console that they neglected the PC version. I was forced to set the graphics so low on the PC to get decent fps, and by then the game looked like a dos game compared to other games of that time.

The next gen consoles haven't even been announced yet. Release could still be a fair bit over a year away.

I never found the swearing to be too over the top, certainly not enough to make me notice it as a problem.

The game looks cool. The best GTA in my opinion is San Andreas. When is the game releasing?
