Dont know it. If it was me id get Wet and/or Halo: ODST.
Fable II is pretty decent, but depends on what you preference in gaming genres are.
It is a very satirical RPG, and also quite a lot of fun. Fable II should give you quite a bit more play-time compared to your average action titles (bar multiplayer), if you like RPG's.
Dont dig Halo at all,,,same with gears of war,,, over rated

Ok so ur more an RPG than FPS or Action 3rd person shooter fan. Then maybe you will love Fable. I happened apon a clitch which made it so i was married to two women even though the one vanished from the world and my daughter didn't acknowledge my presence. I was very happy with my Fable II purchase at even high release pricing. On the other hand, something like Halo 3 just became a glorified door-stopper very quickly.
It will all be up to your preferences in games, and what you feel like playing now. I absolutely loooove my RPG's, and buy most rated over 75%, but sometimes even a AAA RPG will not satisfy me when I need an action fix.
Here is another example. I like 3rd person action type titles along the lines of God of War, Devil May Cry and such, but I NEVER play them through a second time, I feel no compulsion to. However with RPG's, often they get a 2nd playthrough.
So it is all up to your discretion ^_^
Im a Halo Fanboi and i love gears. Ive played through halo 1, 2 and 3 about 2 and a half times each. Ever six or 8 months ill dust it off and play through again. I love my RPG's also but just felt Fable was over hyped. But like the man said, its up to your discretion.
That can happen in real life too.
