Alienware’s new X51 gaming PC kinda looks like an Xbox

    http://mygaming.co.za/news/pc/30960-...e-an-xbox.html

Alienware's X51 PC is amazing, it looks compact, and small and the specs, oh my goodness!! That PC makes going to LAN's a lot easier since it is not a big bulky tower. The pricing is not too bad, about R8,650. Makes me feel sad for buying my Dell Notebook which has not so good specs (see my signature) for R10999.95. This has convinced me, that my next PC / Notebook purchase is definately an Alienware. Definately an Interesting and a depressing read, since my laptop was more the price of that PC for less

My friend was actually looking for a new graphics card and was not sure what he wanted and what was the best price. It actually quite weird how the people here at MyGaming can read our minds!!! lol Keep up the great work!!

Few things could have sweetened this deal much more (apart from say a price drop, but you get what you pay for). I'm really looking forward to tessellation being fully implemented in upcoming titles. Although my 2007-old rig will need a MAJOR upgrade...

    I'd rather be playing ChronoTrigger...

This thread took me back many, many years - to the days before internet and suppliers around every corner. My first PC cost me R4000 (1987) - was a 10Mhz Turbo XT with 1meg of RAM and 20 Meg Hard Drive. It had a state of the art Hercules Graphics Card and I had an Orange mono screen - upgraded to colour VGA monitor a year later (worked my ass off to save up and buy a 2nd hand one) and a Creative Soundblaster card. In those days there was no such thing as a gaming PC per se.

I'm currently in the market for a new GPU, and this gave me some well needed info.
