Looking at PC proves the point "Teenage girls control the world". Still no surprise behind Diablo and battlefield.

Good to see San Andreas is still in that list. Still selling after all these years. Also, London 2012 is doing quite well in the aftermath of the Olympics, I reckon it will do so for another month before crashing.

Many, many people who play the Sims will disagree with you. All the people that I know who play the Sims are dudes...though I can understand the Katy Perry expansion.
    That's what she said.

    The Dork Knight.

Can't deny the mass appeal and selling strength of The Sims. Every publisher needs those franchises that keep ticking over sales so they can invest in other projects.

The Sims only manages to stay ahead in these times of slim picking; it usually gets knocked down a few pegs when there are big new releases out

I must say, I kinda enjoyed the building sim part of the game. The actual life simulation thing gets too much - I can barely motivate myself to shower and go to work IRL :P

I really enjoyed the sims 2, I just never got round to buying the new version nor re installing on my new pc. The point you have to admire is it takes a large slice of the gaming market because it relates to so many interests.
BTW the teenage joke was aimed at Katy perry.

Yeah, I used to build the hell out of it. But I never really liked Sims 3, the game was too pushy. Sims2 was by far the best of the lot.

Kinect Star Wars still on there for XBox. I wonder who's buying all of them...?
Not surprised to see Sims there, my GF plays it and lots of girls I know just go nuts for it.
Nothing is permitted, everything is true.
