Yeah a few days ago you could only DL 1.1GB then it went to 1.2GB now it's the full 1.4GB.

How epic is TL2? I only managed to play about 30 minutes last night but it was flippen awesome. Got to about level 5 on Outlander.

The Runic website wasn't able to take the load from all the users wanting to create accounts and is still struggling as we speak. However at least we were able to play single-player and LAN without any issues.

I love it that it takes 20 seconds (I haven't timed it, but it's fast!) from when I click play in Steam until I'm in game busy killing stuff.

What's also epic is that I quit with a quest popup open, and when I loaded the game again I was at the exact same spot with the same quest popup still open! How nice is that? No more having to continue until the next checkpoint!
When an anti-piracy method is affecting the game for people who legitimately bought it and causing other people not to buy the game, there is obviously something wrong with it!

Yes! I played for around 1 hour yesterday aswell, got to lvl9 outlander.

so far it is everything i was expecting D3 to be. D3 left a sour taste in my mouth but so far enjoying this Lan with my gf. When i click my character moves, i don't have to wait a second before he does something. When i attack its instant, not a slight delay. When i get to big mobs of monsters i don't see parts of the battle and the rest lag, i actually get to control my character and dodge incoming missiles or fireballs etc. feels so good!

Playing veteran mode and died a few times but that was because i decided to try tank the mobs instead of kiting like the outlander should. Very cool game, for R130 what a pleasure! actually that was for both torchlight 1 and 2, so basically R70 for TL2, definitely worth it so far. Will report back though during the weekend and as i start progressing to see my overall opinion then but doubt it will change

Check with Eugene, he advertised a page or 2 ago that he still has a copy, not sure if its still available but if you only need one copy, its like R130ea with the 4 pack.

I still think Torchlight is the thorn in Diablo's side - my opinion is they pushed back D3's release because of T1, and now I am happy to read that T2 is apparently what D3 should have been. This will be in my January shopping list.

I'm also playing on Veteran mode, and it is exactly where it should be on the difficulty scale. It's not a brick wall, but it's not too easy!

I died my first two deaths this morning in a Phase Beast challenge!

    edit: I'm currently level 7!

Started out normal but after 10mins decided it was too easy and switched to veteran, which feel significantly better. Like Wyzak said, it not so hard you can't progress but it's not so easy that you can just steam roll everything. Playing as Embermage and if I don't kite and stun I get dead pretty quickly, although haven't died yet. Think I was around lvl12.
