Xbox games for Windows 8 will be playable on any Windows 8 PC or tablet. Xbox games for Windows 8 will have Xbox Achievements, and many will also take advantage of other Xbox features, including leaderboards, multiplayer modes, and connecting with friends.
So how exactly does that make them any different from their much maligned and nearly abandoned Games for Windows Live service?

Yes! Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja FTW!!!

Microsoft should add a search feature on their app store on windows 8.

Doesn't Steam, U-play and Origin allow to some level social integration, achievements and so on for windows? Despite all this I still don't use the features and windows 8 certainly won't change that cause don't see the point in connecting with players on a MP server that I will never talk to again.
My opinion, Microsoft is just looking for features to throw into Windows 8 for the sake of it. Xbox gamers game on a Xbox and PC games on their PC, they won't dilute their collections.

It's Games for Window Live re-branded into Xbox Live and made exclusively for the Metro UI, so it's a games label meant for non-gamers.

This will work for those office folk who need to pass time... Who usally downoad and play anything. I am not stereo typing (or maybe I am) but I can see who they appealing to... The app store is available out of the box and lots of people woul n't bother going much further than that. My 2c.
