Thread: Swopping games

    Default Swopping games

    Hi there.

I am looking for some feedback here please. I swop games with my brothers and when I am finished with the game I just return it. I realise this is common practice for many people and I might be interested to build a platform where anyone can exchange or swop games with anyone.

Will you join a platform where you can swop and exchange games as often as you like?

    Thanks

Firstly, if you intend to commercialise it, you may want to spell swap correctly

Secondly, not me. I collect; I don't trade.

I read Swooping games and thought of this:

Like Lyly I collect. I normally find Trading a waste of money and in my line of work its always good to have a large library to draw inspiration from.

I did it with Tinman and Spooner for PS3 games etc... and I didn't ever mind loaning my games out because I knew I could trust them.

I lend and borrow games as often as possible with close friends. PS3 games are expensive and I can't afford buy all the games I want (I'm a full-time student )

Used to trade in games at two local stores called GameXchange and GameStation (I think?) until they closed down recently. Has become a tad more difficult to get new games to play now.

    So to answer your question..

I dunno. I like owning games, so the idea of borrowing games just to return them later isn't quite as appealing to me. Might be for people who don't have access to platforms like Steam, though.
