Hey guys

I'm not sure if this has been discussed in that other uber-thread but it's way to long to go through.

Basically, I want to know if anyone knows of any legit ways to improve latency in GW2. There is no latency indicator in the game :/ but it feels a little laggy here and there and I would really like to get it as close to lag free as possible.

I know there are VPN services that can help with this. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Also - I'm using an MWEB 2MB uncapped shaped DSL account. Can anyone vouch for any other data packages that will provide a better experience?

I got Mweb, 1mbs uncapped. Have very little to zero latency problems, I know Seacom was down for a bit, that could be the cause of the lag?
Also, are you on a EU home server?
As for VPN, from what I know, it wont help all that much.

I haven't had any latency problems - not even when we were going through that SEACOM episode last week (I'm on Afrihost Uncapped 4Mbps). Not that I haven't experienced the odd lag-spike, but they've been very few and far between, so I'm pretty happy with my experience thus far.

I don't know if Leetrix will help at all, but if you haven't run it yet maybe give it a shot.

...There is always battleping or something like lowping. Isn't there an ingame ping command like aion ?
