True even though I do not have the game 9 million subscribers paying R120 pm where is all this money going

At its' peak, WoW had 12 mil players, now it's down to 9 mil. Just goes to show that WoW is ending its' life span as gamers move on towards better things.

I see in the nag magazine that they had 10.1 last month and this month 9.1 million and if 9.1 million people pay 120 bucks and then those same people pay the 300 for the mists of pandora or what ever its called expansion and those people have been paying for 4 years
9 million * 120 * 48 see what answer that gives you and that's excluding the price people are actually pay for the game they must have quite a nestegg tucked away

WoW's figures are constantly fluctuating. People like to say that it's dying because it dropped down to 9mil subscribers, but 9mil is still far more than any of the other major MMOs out there have. You can also suspect it to either reach or surpass 12mil again once Pandaria releases.

Yes and how blizzard blames alot of it on diablo 3 even though graal said that wow is blizzard's mmo that is not entirely true blizzard has diablo 3 and starcraft 2 and if they lose subs they will more than likely develop a new starcraft dlc or entirely new game but as you said looking at the statistics as new expansion's come out there will remain a steady number of subs for wow

I recently quit WoW, and moved on to GW2. One of the better decisions of my life. WoW is becoming a ruined game, in my opinion, due to the way that Blizzard is making the game ridiculously easy.

I understand that every player wants to have full T13 gear, but if they truly lack, then too bad. Seriously. A couple of weeks ago (just after the 5.0.4 patch) my DS group wiped on Madness because of too much DPS. Yes, that's right. Too much DPS on the main tentacle turned our raid into an episode of hentai, with the amount of tentacles (amongst other adds) spawning.

Also, the amazing graphics (in MMORPG terms) make it very appealing as well.

I've only been playing for 2 weeks now but the overall smoothness of the game makes it amazing, with features like the dynamic task/event system, PvP in general, as well as the sheer epicness of World vs. World combat.

From what I saw seems GW2 is pretty easy*** too . WoW was good... back when it was just wow before any expansion. Bah if only GW2 had multi classing, I like options
