A really good place to read up on MMO's in general is : http://www.mmorpg.com/ Seen that list, or a similar one there before. Also they have sections just for people looking for a new MMO to play. It also has sub-section forums for a crazy amount of MMO's!
mmorpg.com's list is nice as it allows you to search for specifics, like PvP, item malls etc. Helps weed out exactly what you don't want
