    One more question: these new TVs are all 16:9 aspect ratios, but the TV signal is 4:3, how does teh TV deal with this? Does it stretch it, do you get black bars or does it use software to get a proper picture?

    all tvs has a feature build in that will either stretch it or zoom it in, I know some of them have aspect correction.
