    Default Final PC Build Help

    Hi All,

Please may you assist me by advising / critiquing my final PC build. I have had awesome input / advice from Duff Man (My BB), NAG Weasley (My BB) and The Joker.

I am only purchasing in November so hopefully prices will be a bit better. Looking to maybe buy from rebeltech.

    1. Is this a balanced build?
    2. Will it be able to comfortably handle future titles and games?
    3. In terms of hardware/prices, should I wait till December or rather buy now?
    4. Can you recommend better components for the hardware?

    Purpose:

    · HD Movies,
    · Connected to 32 Inch LED TV,
    · General use
    · Latest Game Titles: Crysis 3 – when released, Diablo 3, NFS Most Wanted 2, Supreme Commander, Sleeping Dogs, Borderlands etc.

    Build:
    · MB:GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H
    · Processor:Intel Core i5 3470, 3.2GHz
    · Graphics:Sapphire HD7850, 2GB
    · RAM: Team Elite 8GB
    · Case: Antec One
Hopefully the dust filters will help and can keep the contents cool and can fit the graphics card.
    · PSU:Antec HCG-M (High Current Gamer Modular), 520w
Trying to find something as good but cheaper?
    · Keyboard:GIGABYTE KM7580
    · DVD / RW:LG GH22NS50, 22x SATA
    · HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003, 1TB
    · Internet: D-Link DWA-121

    Thank you!

Looks ok'ish , but I'm a bit skeptical about the 32" screen hence the high resolution.

If its a full hd tv max res will be 1920x1080.
Seems like a fairly good build. The gpu is pretty strong but you might find it lacking with titles like Crysis 3 ect.
Rebeltech has a sale on Gigabyte 7870 oc editions for R3100 and you get a free copy of sleeping dogs. So maybe swap the 7850 for a 7870 and yeah the 7870 is a monster of a card.

Yep good build, crysis 3 will be running at about 30-40 fps on medium settings to high settings imo but the other games should run comfortably

I would personally try and get a bit more juicy psu, if you can. Will allow for more head room later on if you do oc a gpu or go crossfire, etc.

I saw the sale but i already have gone over my original budget to get a better graphics card (7850). I dont really need Crysis 3 for running in ultra high level detail, you think high settings will be okay?

Do you have a specific PSU in mind and how many watts?

    Do please note!
HDMI can do Audio DVI/VGA can't. So please don't skimp like some customers of mine and get DVI cable thinking it will do everything because it won't. HDMI all the way.

High settings is fine, medium is fine even, it just depends on you. The 7850 has a lot of oomph in it still, I am glad to see that you have already pushed your budget to allow for the best card you can get as many people make the mistake on skimping out on it and then being upset later that they end up with something that they weren;t wanting
