I have been messing around with the Windows 7 beta at home. While the experience has been more pleasant than that I had with the Vista demo, there are still not sufficient DX10-only games around to give me a compelling reason to move from WIndows XP.

I just installed Windows 7 on one of our office PCs, and no drivers for the network card Hope to solve the problem, but II guess these issues are not unexpected.

The system itself is very responsive and clean - so far I like it

    It's probably an old'ish NIC / pc.

PS> Is it just me or is rpm's ava looking extra grumpy today?

well I the PC we used actually did everything it was supposed to and it actually picked up the Network card first so that it could DL updates and relevant drivers

    Ye, sounds about right.
It should also go through a period of asking you for your internet connection details as well if you don't have an auto / direct connection setup.
