for wow you can realistically get any isp as you wont need the performance. So go for bang for buck.. Mweb or Afrihost should be fine .

Im using afrihost at the moment and my ping is fantastic (400ms).
If you want to go the wireless route Iburst was good for me but I needed an antenna to have 100% signal (600ms).
Friend of mine is using a cellc usb dongle and he doesnt have any complaints.
I've been using MWeb for the last 5 years, and I've had no issues other than the occassional Seacom issue, but MWeb are pretty quick to resolve it. I usually get around 200-250ms, with my daughter on YouTube, my son on whatever game he's into at the moment, my wife also in WoW, and my eldest daughter on Facebook. I have a 10Mb line, with a 4Mb MWeb uncapped account.
400ms is far from fantastic. If you play on EU WoW servers your ping should be between 200 and 250ms.Originally Posted by kerbyross
To the OP: You should be safe buying a unshaped account from basically any fairly well known ISP. Unshaped accounts are best for gaming but also cost more.
When an anti-piracy method is affecting the game for people who legitimately bought it and causing other people not to buy the game, there is obviously something wrong with it!
I use telkom and my connections are fine. low latency aswell
I've always found mweb to be the best, it also helps if you in cpt
