Steam beta problems

I recently updated my steam to the new beta version (can't find servers without it) and have been struggling with it ever since. Problems like my tf2 doesn't want to launch. Every time I press play I have to wait for it to verify the tf2 files and steam cache (which isn't normal)
And regular crashes . Has any one been having problems with the new version? If So post them here and I'll send the thread link to them so that they can adress the problems

What servers are you connected to for your downloads?

Mweb, it doesn't crash while I download it crashes randomly.


Edit* steam keeps on crashing after every 5 mins or so
Only seems to happen when I launch tf2.
