Then let me clarify. I don't care what the (and let me quote this verbatim) "arrogant, elitist pricks" on the forum (some of the PM's even referred to specific people by name, but I don't want to cause more drama by naming them) think about me. My entirely justified reaction to this thread was because a). he hid it (I wouldn't have had a problem if he just kept the post up, because I could easily just explain what happened and refute it, which I could only do several posts later, but of course, most people didn't read that bit), and b). My friends saw someone badmouthing me, but they didn't understand what it was about. I don't take kindly to people trying to ruin my friendships (even if the accusations turned out to be cardboard-thin).

It saddens me that there are people who send PM's bad mouthing people. One persons point of view of a bad run in with someone should not be forced onto others.
