Will RoseZA be around for a long time, or is there a chance of it being shut down due to financial or other reasons? Would be a pity.

we are sponsored. so no plans for shutting down anytime soon.

So far our sponsors "Mweb" seems happy with game and we intend to keep it that way

We code directly on the source code and so the sky is the limit for us, we can change anything and everything, we can manipulate the game as we see fit, there is nothing we cannot do, add, modify or delete. We have ALOt of plans and interesting things to implement down the road, but ofcourse our top priority at this stage is to get a 0 bugs rating. no use and building a house when foundation isnt rock solid.

Infact we busy looking at expanding the team. if anyone is interested we are looking for the following :

Coders : C++
Gfx Designers : People experienced with 3dmax, photoshop etc ...

We only consider experienced people who will commit long term. it is not required to use all your spare time, but you will have a fair share of work to do and the experience gained will be priceless. You also get credit for everything you do and this will surely open doors for you in ways you couldnt even dream, keep in mind that most of the country is watching this game so your every move is monitored.

Thriel i have a question when i start up my client I always seem to get an error that says it fails to get patchlist.txt yet i still manage to get into the game whats up with that???

did you update your launcher ?

we released a new launcher this week. just download it from our download section.

you can play without patching, however we cant garuntee you wont have any errors in game as your old files wont be in sync with the current new server side files. so best is to patch to avoid any problems.

The New Launcher :

*Features a Complete new look to bring it more inline with our homepage look.
*Features a new Newsfeed that automaticly pulls news headlines directly from our homepage and displays them in launcher.
*Now has a server status feature that allows you to see if server is online or offline.
*Also added a notice on launcher to correctly advertise our sponsor.

Download Size is around 600-700kb i think.

Well i did download the new updates but the wierd thing is this has been going on since i downloaded the game i dont think its anything serious but it could cause an issue when trying to get the updates if u know what i mean...

Also, if you have not patch since game was released, then i highly recommend you look in your roseza game folder and delete the file called "pindex.file" That will force your client to re-patch.

ooohhhh i see well i couldnt play anything online yesterday... been capped but i did update the launcher so ill definitely check it out when im back home later but thanks for the feedback

actualy thnx to your query this morning i found a bug in latest launcher

i posted a notice on homepage about it, i have fixed the problem, but all players that downloaded the new launcher after tuesday needs to delete "pindex.file" in their game directory. it will force the client to re-patch and repair the corrupt file i found.

so thnx for that, we are all only human afterall
