Black ops 2 - cannot join lobby's anymore

yeah, i tried that, but after staring at my screen for more than 5 minutes waiting to find a game, i decided "f$$k that" and changed it back to normal o_O

One day, you must show me where you find the patience to wait for five minutes in the lobby. If i can't connect after 10/15 seconds i leave and then go back in. I usually get into a game after the 4th or 5th attempt.

lol, it's called Alt-Tab, and play a web game or browse Failbook, when u play DoTA, u tend to do this alot while waiting for a game haha

True game searches in Dota takes forever, then you get the one nut who declines everytime and you get thrown in the same lobby everytime....

Last night I tried to play bo 2, tried every game mode, on best, normal and any!!!!!!! I tried for about an hour with no luck!!!! I've been getting this problem for the last 2 weeks nou!!!! Never had it before?

It's not about lacking slots, it's about SA peeps only playing TDM or SnD. So it can't find enough people to fill up a game. I play on International servers, usually sit with 2 yellow bars, and I can't say I really notice that much lag. I just not willing to sit and play TDM 24/7 just for lower latency.

Do you play PC or xbox?

If you guys are interested give me your names on steam so i can add you, I am also sick of playing TDM all the time and would much rather play CTF or domination/S&D.

Usually when I cant find a game or it stays in the lobby for a long time I would just join a friend's game.

One thing you can do is check your latency via a speedtest (http://speedtest.mybroadband.co.za/), when my latency is over 200ms I cant find any games to join via the lobby and joining friends games is useless because my ping is 999.

As for gametypes, I like the new thing they did with game of the week lobby, they change it every week with random game modes on a specfic map. Like this week its nuketown 2025 with players choosing between softcore game modes ... last week it was hardcore game modes on raid ... and 2 weeks ago was chaos with multi-team kill confirmed, eish was so much effort to get a killstreak with 2 teams to fight against.

The past week I had no problem finding games in the "Game of the week" playlist. Luckily they played on one of my favorite maps Raid so I enjoyed myself. I have problems finding other game modes though even S&D.

I think I'll try the game of the week and see how that goes.... seriously gatvol of SA players only playing TDM. I'd love to play some HP, Domination and CTF.

BTW do you guys know how the 'game count' works in the pre-lobby menu? So, for example, if it says there are 1700 TDM games available and 200 HP games available etc. is that based on your current ping settings?

I usually have my ping set at 120 or less and finding TDM is no problem, but, given the count of available Domination games (sometimes about half as many as TDM) I would expect to still get a game but I never seem to unless I seriously up my ping and play on an international server.

I find the inability to get games of types other than TDM very frustrating. Also, has the system changed with respect to map rotation and DLC map packs? Soon after I got the Uprising map pack I found the new maps in the rotation fairly often but lately I haven't had a new map in ages?
