D'you reckon they will make a DotA-like mod for this? And do you think it'll be any good, considering how the gameplay dynamic will shift from sword and sorcery to guns and bombs...

Has anyone got any info on whether they will be implementing heroes in SC2?

I tend to stay away from RTS Beta/Demos. WE know it's gonna be worth it so I say wait for the full version before ever touching it!

The official Starcraft 2 website has been updated with news of a hero unit for the Protoss, named Zeratul. The unit is a Dark Templar Prelate.

The character description states that Zeratul is a warrior and assassin whose forbears were exiled from the protoss homeworld of Aiur over a thousand years ago. The dark templar refused to submerge themselves in the communal protoss mind link, the Khala, preferring instead to strive as individuals. Zeratul holds the rank of prelate and is probably best known for his role in the ensuring the survival of the protoss since the zerg threat first became apparent
