The very first time I bought a game from them my downloads kept freezing at 90%. I try it on different computers, different ISP accounts, different locations, but it keeps freezing. I even ask one of my friends to give it a try at his house, but no dice. I mail support, but they insist the issue is on my side. I tell them it isn't, tell them everything I've done. At this point the issue is clearly on their side, but they keep denying it. I ask them to at least have a look at their servers, but they tell me they won't because the issue is on my side. After two weeks of fighting and an eventual refund request (which got denied), I make a thread in the GameTutor, and another South African admits he has the same issue. Just like that they admit there's an issue with their South African server and take it down for maintenance.
Second time I had issues the key for the game I bought was already used in Steam and thus useless to me. Support tells me I've already used the key and there's nothing they can do for me. After a few days of bickering and finally going so far as to offer that they log into my Steam account and see if I've activated it, they finally relented and exchanged my key.
Third problem I had was with their password reset service. I forgot my password, which thus locked me out of my account. Their password reset service simply didn't send out the password reset emails. Posted my issue on Facebook, didn't get resolved for a week. Apparently they've resolved it, but by the time they informed me that they did I'd simply given up. I don't have a lot of games with them (a few Steam games, Neverwinter Nights Collection, Gothic 3 & expansion, assorted indie games), it probably amounts to about R500 worth of games, but I've simply given them up for lost. It's simply not worth the hassle. There are much less troublesome services dotted all across the net.
