They usually have A LOT of good deals going, not just 1 per day like some other online stores *cough*steam*cough*...

A lot of the games come as Steam Keys as well, so you can still keep most of your eggs in one basket

I'm also a big Gamersgate fan but the threads don't seem to stick (I know of at least 2 past attempts to get one started).

For which I'm grateful because it meant that I got Spec Ops the Line for under R100, my thanks. I'm looking at Warlock Master of the Arcane at R44 right now. I really, really don't need more games at the moment but at that price...

I've had so many issues with Gamersgate in the past that I avoid buying from them unless I can help it. Every time I have bought something, I've ended up having issues with their site and/or downloader. The only time I'll consider buying from them is if the game on special has a Steam key I can activate, otherwise fuck them.

I would also like to know whether the games at GamersGate register with Steam. Man oh man, I've become a sheep but I really like having most of my pc games in a nice sorted list that I can install as I please.

It's already hard to have physical copies of pc games and to have more on Origin and GoG. Eh, I guess adding another to the list is probably not that bad.

Personally I've had no issues with them, and I've bought both steam and non-steam games there.

but I guess it all comes down to personal preference. use it, don't use it
