Planescape: Torment - just because it's my favourite game of all time
The Dig - I think that this game actually could be remade quite well. It had a great story, was incredibly immersive and the atmosphere of desolation that it created was unprecedented in my opinion. Seeing this game updated and made even more beautiful would be awesome.

That would be pretty legend. I tried playing this the other day but got so frustrated I couldn't go any further. It's a pity because it's really so good. I wouldn't mind a polished version of X either

Yes!! They were awesome and so unique. I still remember how horrible I felt when I came back from a mission and the base was destroyed If they remade these I would definitely be in the queue to buy.

What about a redone Arcanum? With modern tech it can be made truly amazing!

Sometimes I feel that old games better left as they are, unless they need real graphics improvements.

I would like see many old FPS(Delta Force, Duke Nukem, Doom) on Frostbite engine or similar modern graphics engine.

Relating to RTS, I have seen few videos about mods to run old C&C series on a Starcraft II or Tiberium Wars engines. I even suppose there is mod for Warcraft III - Warcraft II.

Also, it could be not bad to see Diablo I with improved graphics like in Diablo II or better.

I wondered, what if to do opposite - remake of newer game on older engine? For example, Red Alert 3 on engine of Red Alert 1. Or Call of Duty:MW on Duke Nukem engine? Could be hilarious...

I am playing FFVII at the moment on the PS3 (downloaded it) and it isn't that bad. Thought that it would be, because it is quite old. Surprised that it wasn't as bad as expected.
    That's what she said.

    The Dork Knight.

I second on The Dig! What atmosphere.

My first choice would be Beneath a Steel Sky. Or even Omicron Conspiracy. Brownie points for anyone who knows it.

There are many many many games that deserve a remake...
I'm glad someone mentioned Golden Axe.

On topic - has anyone pledged for any kickstarter remakes? There's even a few point and click-adventures... even one by the Two Guys from Andromeda! (If you don't know who they are, you don't deserve this thread
