Twitch.tv game streaming...

So I just want some general info on how viable it is to actually stream games from South Africa?

I have an account on Twitch.tv/Justing.tv and I got Open Broadcasting Software - www.obsproject.com to use as a free alternative to XSplit.

I also got my Stream Key from Justin.tv setup and everything is basically ready to go. My only concern right now is upload speeds on my 4Mb uncapped account from Mweb.

Has anyone on the forums actually setup a successful stream with minimal frame dropping and a good enough quality to actually build some sort of following on Twitch?

Streaming (as far as I understand) is very dependant on your hardware and upload speeds of your net. A high upload speed (1Mb/s+) would help greatly.

Here is a good guide from some of the okes from the Battlefield 3 community. We dont have built in spectator and this is our only option.
