@Fivel This whole thread is pretty much off topic. I don't think anybody has even mentioned the LEGO LOTR review yet ...
Anyway, I'm done discussing this. I've said what I wanted to say and I'll just leave it at that ...
Ok, so I didn't read the review (I pretty much saw the word Lego in the title, and moved on) and then I came here on the forum and saw two pages of replies in this thread, so had to take a peek.
I'm just wondering, since I've seen a couple of these Logo games before (and by "saw", I mean, seen the word Lego in the game title) and now a review of the game... is there anyone here playing any of those games? Aren't those games mostly targeted at kids?
I play the Lego titles. I have the Star Wars lego titles and my wife has completed all of the Harry Potter lego titles as well. The gameplay on these games is pretty darn good, the story follows whatever franchise the game is about, but usually adds some (often hilarious) comedic twists with the characters that has become a hallmark for these lego titles. For co-op, it's also brilliant and makes clever use of the camera and screen real-estate. The graphics on these Lego games is also very striking. The use of lighting techniques never ceases to amaze me and really draws you into the game's universe. This reviewer was extremely biased in his views with this game and should go back to playing counter-strike or CoD - so please, don't bother reading the review.
If you like co-op games (or even fancy a silly adventure of a favourite movie franchise) then give it a try. Besides, you can download the demo for this game as well to try it out before you buy.
Deleted all my off topic posts and moved them here while I await feedback from James or MyGaming;
