Star Wars MMORPG Beta testing begins

Tried signing up ... keeps bumping me back to first page.

Now ... if they have trouble just getting the registration working, it doesn't bode well ... :(
 
Sheesh ... tried 2 different browsers and made about 5 different attempts.

I'll give it another shot in a bit and see what happens.

You guys really should change that news article Bioware is famed for much more than just Mass Effect and ME 2. It would suit the article more to say they were responsible for knights of the republic one which ties into to the mmorpg . Saying they are only famous for me is like saying all blizzard every did was develop wow.

Same thing is happening as what happened to shadowfox.

Yeah but BG is more fantasy while KOTOR is sci fi so that's why it would fit better with an article about the kotor mmorpg. But yeah BG is what made Bioware.
 
I finally managed to get through as well.

I agree with Isengard and Stephan ... the Baldur's Gate series pretty much defined Bioware as a group. They've always specialised in RPG type games, and in that KOTOR and BG aren't different ... only the game mechanics changed.
 
Anybody running win 7 been able to get through?? I have tried firefox,ie and opera and can't get through. I get to the testing phase and complete the system scan but then gets thrown back to the first page.:mad:

Edit: Finally after the 100th attempt I get through.

Well ... I got through eventually ... but I get stopped at the system scan page because of browser incompatibility.

You need firefox 3 or greater (which I have) or Windows XP or greater (which I also have).

Also tried multiple browsers.
