It's not really the pings that Interest me, it's the packet loss associated with wireless. I want to know about the Hitreg and "tanking" in FPS games like Battlefield, COD etc.

This. This whole december vacation thing mweb has been screwing me over with packet loss the size of zuma's...... Hmm yes you get the idea. Its frustrating playing cod and everyone "tanks" you and bullets just seemingly doesn't hit the enemy

Can't see why they bother testing vodacom LTE for gaming, when they refuse to drop their data prices!!!!!!! Playing online via vodacom is Extremely Expensive. Believe me, I know!!!!

I have a friend running LTE on a SGS 3 and she tethers it for multiple different things. The speeds are insane and the ping is ridiculously low. While packet loss is a problem, i think if you are in a decent coverage area you shouldn't any problems...Hopefully.
