Sometimes when I'm playing it says it has lost connection to the servers, but it still lets me carry on playing.

    Let's get this region connected
I've now created passenger and freight train stations. I'm focussing on ore extraction for metal and alloy exports, so if someone is gonna build a high-tech city making electronics using my alloys and metals, that would be great :P

You gotta plonk down a hell of a lot of mines and shafts, and then make sure you have enough storage yards, all exporting your raw materials.

Last night a strange thing happened in my city. I was going along smoothly, earning lots of money, happy population, etc. I bulldozed a residential area to make way for my sea port, and this caused a collapse of my local worker economy. Before I knew it, my sewage works stopped functioning, and I had an exodus of workers - my population plummeted. Had to take out loans to recover.

Typing this out, i'm think I might actually have too many industrial buildings and so my workforce is spread too thin.

Let this be a lesson to us all :P

Wow. Reading that, it sounds bad. I'm actually going to pay attention to this now. If it's the case, it's really sloppy.

No wonder my sewerage plant never has workers - I stuck it on the edge of my map out of the way.

I managed to solve my traffic problems for now.

Make sure you don't have too many bus stops!

That really explains a lot. What a major oversight. Jeeze.
