I can't keep up with the amount of good games that are making an appearance on PS+. Remember Me, Devil May Cry, BioShock Infinite...and now a rumoured Tomb Raider?

That's what she said.
The Dork Knight.
I was actually disappointed with Outlast, the first 20mins were really great and filled with horror but then the game lost it right up until the last 20mins or so. The moment they started throwing inmates at you like confetti the game became predictable and a schlep in all honesty.
It's still the best horror game I've played since Amnesia, but that just goes to show how low the horror bar actually is![]()

Totally agree.
I was expecting the game to be damn scary but when I finished it I was pretty disappointed. You can run through most of the game without anything happening. The hype from Youtube tricked me.
On the other hand I could barely manage 1 hour sessions when playing Silent Hill 2. That game was just to creepy.
Seriously wish I could download these things via a usb stick, and shove it onto the PS4![]()
Ooooh man, Silent Hill 2, now that was a fucking scary game. I was really young when I played it so that probably helped, but man it was scary as fuck and totally awesome! We need more horrors like that.
A horror game should have puzzle elements but should be so harsh in dealing out death to the player, it ruins the immersion (That breaker right in the beginning of Outlast). I truly believe there should be no monsters at all (Please tone down on all the guts and decapitated heads as well, they're not scary when spammed), the scariest monsters are the ones you come up with in your mind. It has to use darkness really well (Outlast did this perfectly actually) and you need to feel exposed and helpless (That moment you first emerge from that Asylum in Outlast). I also don't think hiding should be so prominent, it's too easy to hide in a closet or a corner and feel safe, true horror shouldn't be so easy to escape, you should feel mentally wrecked after an hour or so of play just trying to get to maintain your sanity.
That would be a perfect horror game! I wonder if any team, be it AAA or india, will ever have the balls to attempt something truly disturbing and fucking scary as shit.
