Last night SOE's new F2P MMORPG Wizardry Online went live on Steam. Finished the download last night and going to check it now.

Is this based on the original Wizardry series? Always wanted to play it but never got around to it.

How was it? Worth the download?

Don't know if it's based on the original (never played it) but I was very disappointed. It's very....dull. And the lag didn't help it's case either. Don't see me playing it in the future. couple of guys in game where complaining a lot as well

The screenshots on the Steam page was all I needed to know that it's not worth my time.
