Hi,
First time poster but I've frequented the board on and off.
I just wanted to know if anyone else has heard of WildFire?
Buddy of mine says he heard its an evening-uncapped ADSL account at +- R300.

Also what speed is this your talking about?
Evil meet my Sword. Sword, meet Evil!
I think this thread may be related to spam that was posted about wildfire earlier today, probably by the same guy.
Why do them when you can get an uncapped for R299 a month including adsl line from like afrihost which is uncapped 24/7?
Dunno about the spam bit, but my buddy says he got this link:

PS: Did some digging on Google and it looks like its part of this news article way back in November:

You know it looks very suspicious when someone signs up just to create a post about something that no-one has ever heard of.
Yes, I also find it suspiciously coincidental that not even an hour after another account was banned for posting advertising links to the same website, a new user is registered and the first post they make is related to the exact same service and they then provide the same link.
MyGaming is not a free advertising portal - this is clearly laid out in the rules of the forum. We don't take kindly to people trying to sneak links onto our forum and website. There are numerous ways to bring a new product into the discussion; either by contacting the editorial team or through paid advertising that will therefore support the website and its community.
I can see in the admin section of the forum that the initial poster was indeed linked to Vox Telecom. It looks like the Wildfire service from Vox is preparing to launch commercially, as it is currently only available through vouchers at Vox retail partners.
To try and lure MyGaming members into "pre-ordering" the product through advertising posts on the forum and using shill accounts (unproven) is pretty lame.

Well I guess I could have been viewed as "luring" people to the service, but wouldn't that have required me to post a link BEFORE someone asked for it?
I merely asked if anyone else has heard of it (to which I found the answer in the news post of THIS site later on, in November no less).

Just putting it out there...
