Thread: Should you be able to re-sell Steam games?

I don't really mind not being able to resell my games. If it is a good game, chances are I'll be coming back to it someday anyway. What would be nice is if I could "return / resell / trade" some of the games I purchased, only spent an hour on it and decided that I didn't like it.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

If you really want the option to resell your game, why not just make a new Steam account for that game, then sell the login/password to somebody when you're done playing?

Because that's against the Steam EULA. If you get caught, they ban the account.

Ah... so that's the kind of thing they put in that great big block of text I always have to "agree" to before I get to play my game?

meh - Steam/Valve is treating people fairly imo. No need to draw them into the whole resell debate...its a black hole anyway.
