So im watching Spud for like the 30th time, and cant wait for the 2nd movie.

Anyone else read the Spud series and looking forward to the 2nd flick?

i think the casting was done seriously well expect for Vern Blackadder ( Rainman )

John Cleese really brings the The Gov to life though!

Ask them to use the Canoe shed shortcut next time they go night swimming. Its easy to hide in the grass and trees than going behind willows and meadows.

As far as i am aware most of the filming for this movie was done in Cape town, something about MH not allowing them to film there /shrug

Edit - It was Budgetary issues for not filming at MH, I think half the reason i liked the flick so much was because of the school and knowing it surrounds.

Makes sense, MH isn't very big so a film crew would be very disruptive.

Loved the books, but the movie was lacking. The crazy 8 hardly had any dialogue and really needed to see more of Spuds father.
