    Default DA predicts ANC hammering in 2014



    South Africa's opposition Democratic Alliance plans to give the ruling ANC a serious black eye in the 2014 elections by winning up to 30 percent of the vote, a party leader has told AFP.

    "We are aiming for 30 percent," said Lindiwe Mazibuko, the DA's parliamentary leader and the woman tipped by many to one day lead the opposition.

    I love how they are "aiming for 30 percent". they're not even trying to win anymore

    Agreed. They should be aiming higher.

    Instead of percentages i wish they would set better defined goals like "this election we take gauteng".

    I agree. Gauteng is actually becoming very plausible. Didn't the DA have somewhere in the high thirties / low forties for GP in the last election? If I remember correctly, the ANC didn't win by much.

    No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
