    Thats a big hard drive for a console. Wouldn't be a anything I need.

    Looking at getting a PS3 now that the prices are coming down. What is the real advantage of going for the larger disc?

    Didnt the PS3 250GB hit SA shores already i could swear Musica was advertising it in thier pamplets.

    Yeah it's been out for ages...

    People are still better off buying the cheaper console and upgrading the hard drive yourself. Doesn't void the warranty, and the hard drive will be much cheaper:

    120GB PS3 Slim (@ R3799)
    +
    2.5" 500GB HDD (@ R900)
    +
    2.5" External enclosure (@ R150)
    =
    500GB PS3 Slim
    +
    120GB External Hard drive
