Default Oscar Pistorius has received "overwhelming support": agent

Oscar Pistorius has received "overwhelming support" from his fans, his agent said Sunday, as he remained in custody in a South African police station charged with the shooting murder of his model girlfriend.

Peet van Zyl said outside the Brooklyn police station soon after visiting Pistorius that "a lot of fans" had sent their good wishes. Van Zyl said the support was "really on a global scale. South African fans, international fans from literally all over the world."

All those fans will be dissapointed once he gets convicted. From what I know, he lives in Woodlands Gold Estate, one of the safest places around. So the theory of him shooting his girlfriend because he thought it was a robber is probably a lie.

    You know wrong:
He was arrested on Thursday after Steenkamp was shot dead in his home, in Silver Woods Country Estate in Pretoria.

And I'd argue that his living in a safety village makes him more prone to believe that it was an intruder.. There's a reason it's called a "Bangmens dorpie" in Afrikaans

There is just one cruel thought that keeps flowing through my head (thanks brain).
If he does get sent to real jail, would his legs be considered a dangerous weapon? I mean they are metal and long and I'm sure he could do some serious damage if need be.

Yes I know its a sick thought, I'm trying to get through to tech support in there.

Remember that the legs he runs with are not his everyday legs, he has relatively normal prosthetic for everyday use. Still dangerous, but now quite as sword like as those carbon fibre monsters he has.

I figured he wouldn't use the blades for normal use but I'm sure that a metal ankle to the head must suck

Sorry my bad, but its still one of the safest places to live in, and the chance of having an intruder is one in a hundred.

I wouldn't say the chances are that little, and from knowing some of the folks that live in neighbouring safety villages, the paranoia moves in with you..
