    I agree, they can't make the same mistakes as they did with the launch of the PS3.

    Well just watched their Livestream 'PlayStation Meeting 2013', was a little underwhelming. One interesting thing was Blizzard confirmed Diablo3 for PS3 and PS4(probably first)

    What Sony did right was listen to devs this time.

    Cell? No lets go with a CPU (APU) everybody can work with
    512 split memory? No lets go with a shared pool of 8 gig.
    GPU - Updated to 2010/2011 spec a the very least, with a additional physics core (AMD does not run physx like Nvidia, hence the frankenstein GPU setup).

    The APU is a bit weak, nothing that will hurt it now, but 5 years from now... it maybe the new bottle neck, but the '7770 type' GPU will do most of the heavy lifting and pairing it with the APU gives it a fantastic boost over a stock combo.

    Overall a very well planned system, I cannot see any dev being unhappy to work on it.
