Pretty sure DAO's sales will put it as a bit more than just a niche product. If it was just a niche product it would be selling out quotas on the preorder ce on a lot of the big international e-tailer sites. You may be right that the old school rpg genre is niche but a bioware game is not a niche market game. Only time will judge but I am fairly that its sales will put it well above the niche market status.
