    Default Macbook upgrades

I am seriously considering upgrading my macbooK white 7.1.
I have googled a bit and came up with two solutions.
    1. U/g to ssd, I have a 128gb in mind any suggestions?
    2. Upgrade ram from 2gb to 8. Here's the tricky part it has to be DDR3 SODIMM 1066 ram and I can't find any stockists.

Anyone have any experience with the above?

    Thanks in advance

If it's DDR3 get something like 1333/1600 and the motherboard should slow the ram down to 1066.

I have read a couple of threads were it states when you insert anything >1066 the mac will freeze it's apparently due to the graphics unit.

Well a SSD would make a big performance, specifically with booting, loading applications and power draw.

Found some SODIMM 1066 DDR3 for you.
